Tom is a filmmaker and editor who studied an undergraduate degree in Film and TV at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) in Swansea, following this he obtained a Master of Arts in Film and completed his Post Compulsory Education Training.

He has worked for the BBC and freelance for ITV Cymru Wales and Channel 4 to name a few. His filmography includes two documentaries about a small-town ski team, a short film about an unlikely friendship between a teenager and an alien, and he is currently working on a horror film.

He now teaches on the BA Film and TV at UWTSD, a full circle moment where he now educates future filmmakers where he originally studied himself.

He decided to start Studio BYW alongside his co-founder Indigo, to work on films and content that they felt passionate about with a group of professionals who align with them both creatively and morally.
