Abi is an experienced social media and PR specialist who studied Media, Journalism & Culture at Cardiff University. She has worked in communications for almost 5 years, managing the UK’s biggest steel maker’s digital presence.

Abi joined Tata Steel UK in 2020 to complete a Communications Internship following her degree and has since stayed with the company to work in a variety of disciplines within corporate communications including Internal Communications, Community Relations and more recently, Digital and PR.

Alongside managing the company’s social media channels, she has produced first-class features for the likes of OK! Magazine, Santes Dwynwen Magazine and many more in her spare time. However, it is through her employer’s podcast, Women of Steel, as well as an inspiring course with Radio Platform where she discovered her podcasting passion. She will further her experience in storytelling, podcast hosting and producing captivating audio content in joining Studio BYW.
